Eddison - Blend Gtr. Distortion with an ELP Sound Creating A Fresh New Hard Rock Sound
Posted by A1 Mark under PodcastEddison is one of a few band that can blend equal amounts of synthesizer and guitars and still make a strong rock sound. Much of the credit has to go to the writing and the arranging of the songs. While Adam Keenan and Ricky Osborne put out the rock guitar sound you expect, the interplay with Evil Al’s keyboards makes this an exceptional band. Super groups like Emerson, Lake and Palmer or Asia were unable to have the balance of guitars and keyboards, making them not really a rock band any more but some kind of an artsy band. Eddison can play soft or hard, with a 70 and 80’s synthesizer sound but never a dated sound. They still sound as contemporary or ahead of any band on the charts today. By the way Jason Still on bass and Michael Field on drums do a great job.If you go by Eddison’s web site you can get this must have CD plus other great information.
