The first time you hear Lochinvar you’ll think they must be a huge hit in Europe, on the order of Deep Purple. Their sound is so big and grand with first class performance. The recording is crisp you hear all the instruments coming throw. They only make masterpieces.         Paula and John, 2001 promo

The only bad thing about Lochinvar is they are not very popular. They come from Texas in the US and have a loyal fan base, but nothing like they should. Their first cd “Lochinvar” came out in 2001 and the second one “Fire Eyes” came out in 2004. At this point in their curear they should be playing a reunion tour in large autotourems for top dollar, pound, or euro. This band started in 1987 by Paula Blade who also gave them their name. Lochinvar is a person in a Sir Walter Scott poem. She also gives them that great voice that sometimes sounds like Heart on a really great song. The Band has gone throw many changes over the years. In 1989 the only other constant member joined John Walker joined Lochinvar bring his incredible talent of guitar playing. Later in 2004 when recording “Fire Eyes” John played all the instruments but keyboards. For more details see their website. Songs plated on the podcast:
