Hear Al Basile talk about his new CD The Goods. Al’s played with a lot of interesting artists over the years like Eddie “Cleanhead” Vinson, Joe Turner, and Johnny Shines who was Robert Johnson’s playing partner. Duke Robillard asked Al Basile to be in Roomful of Blues back before they ever had a record out. The two have worked together many times over the years. Duke produced and played guitar on The Goods. Between his well crafted songs with good story lines, Al’s also a writer you’ll love what you’re going to hear in this episode because Al Basile has The Goods.

This week we celebrate Cinco De Mayo. If you’re having a party like millions of people will this week, no other band will bring a smile to your guest faces like Los Fabulocos. Their CD Dos is some of the most fun music you will ever get to hear. If this was a blues CD and it’s not I would truely consider this for CD of the year.
Jesus Cuevas will tell us about the bands interesting history and how they got Kid Ramos to join Los Fabulocos. We’ll also play you some great songs from their CD Dos. You have to get this CD to really celebrate Cinco De Mayo properly.
