This week I’m very proud to have an interview with Omar Kent Dykes who is the front man for Omar & The Howlers. They have a new two CD set out on Ruf Records called Essential Collection of Omar & The Howlers. It has songs like “Do It For Daddy”, “Bad Seed”, “Border Girl”, and the Omar and Jimmie Vaughan song “Jimmy Reed Highway” and the only thing better than this Essential Collection would be having all eighteen of the CD’s that these songs came from. These are all prime cuts, no fillers at all plus some good live cuts. Omar is going to have you hollering for more.
