This weeks show is on Tom Hambridge and his newest CD Boom!  Tom is a drummer that sings, writes music with great lyrics, and produces CD’s for other artists.

In 2011 Tom won a Grammy for producing Buddy Guy’s Grammy winning CD Living Proof.  All but two songs on the last two Buddy Guy CD’s have been written or co-written by Tom Hambridge.
As you will hear, Boom is a CD of great music with lyrics that you really relate to.

Look out here comes Matthew Curry & the Fury.  Their new CD If I Don’t Got You is a must have CD.  If you’ve never heard of them don’t feel bad there very new.  Bob Kieser from Blues Blast Magazine just turned me on to this great band and boy are you in for a treat now.  These guys are a very good blues-rock band with sold vocals.

The great Bryan Lee said, “Hurry to hear Matthew Curry, he is the real deal!”

This weeks show is with Kim Simmonds, the founding member of the English band Savoy Brown back in the mid-sixties.  After more than forty years in the business Kim still works hard to put out good blues records.  The newest one just came out a few weeks ago and is called Voodoo Moon.  With good songs like “Shockwaves”, “Round And Round”, and “Voodoo Moon” this CD should be very popular.  His song “Natural Man” has cool lyrics taken from popular sayings and other blues songs.  Savoy Brown has done it once again.
